Our Story

Merc Technologies was founded in 2003 by a team of precision manufacturing veterans who recognized a critical gap in the gauge industry: the need for a manufacturer that could deliver both standard and highly customized gauges with the same level of precision and service.

What started as a small shop with three employees and a commitment to quality has grown into a leading gauge manufacturer serving Fortune 500 companies and precision machine shops alike. Today, we operate from a 25,000 sq ft climate-controlled facility equipped with the latest CNC grinding, lapping, and measurement equipment.     Latest generation machines capable of holding tolerances to 0.000020" (0.5 microns) with automated in-process gauging.

  • Full metrology lab with NIST-traceable standards

    Equipped with air-bearing comparators, optical comparators, CMM, and thread measurement systems for complete dimensional verification.
